The Boeing 727 is considered a mid-size, narrow-body, 3-engine, T-tailed commercial jet airliner. The initial development was started in 1956 primarily because of the huge orders or eighty from Eastern and United Airlines.
It was launched on February of 1963 and its certification was awarded in December of the same year. It started operation with Eastern Airlines on February of 1964.
