The Boeing MD-90 is considered an advanced mid-size, medium-range airliner.

It was launched in November of 1989 and the first flight took place February of 1993. The FAA certification was awarded in 1994 and the first delivery to Delta Airlines delivery was made in the following year as well as the initial operation.

The MD-90 was developed to be precisely and economically competitive by having many efficient technologies. It features a sophisticated flight deck, that has a state-of-the-art inertial reference system, a full flight management system (FMS), electronic flight instrument system (EFIS), and LED dot-matrix displays for engine and system monitoring.
