In January of 2008, the production had begun for the initial 777F. The Boeing 777-200F is considered a long-range, wide-body twin-engine airliner.
This model followed the earlier versions which are the 777-200LR and 777-300ER(started operation in 2006 and 2004 respectively. The initial flight took place on 2008. It is equipped with raked wingtips, GE90 engines, and wingtip extensions of 12.8 ft (3.9 m).
The Boeing 777 started operation with United Airlines in the year 1995. Singapore Airlines has the biggest 777 fleet among any other airline as of 2008. As of February 2009, there were 56 customers who have placed orders totaling 1,101 for Boeing 777s as of February 2009.
